# Register a New Account

Any organization that registers with the Equitable Earth Registry and pays the applicable fees may apply for an account. Participation in the Registry is voluntary.

## Before you start

Have the following information ready:

* Your company's legal identifier.
* The legal name and address of your organization.
* Names, contact information and addresses for both the Account Manager and the Billing Manager of the account.

Your application will go through a KYC/AML assessment before your account is approved: see [Account Review and Approval](/registry/your-account/account-review-and-approval.md).

## Register a new account

Go to [registry.eq-earth.com](https://registry.eq-earth.com/).

### Sign in

Select **Sign In** at the top right of the page.

### Start sign-up

In the new window, select **Sign up now**.

### Enter your email address

Enter your email address and select **Continue**.

### Verify your email

Enter the verification code sent to your email in the field shown by the red arrow, then select **Continue**.

### Create your login

Fill in the fields marked with arrows, then select **Create**.

Your password must be 8 to 16 characters long and include at least one lower-case letter, one upper-case letter, one digit and one special character.

### Add your phone number

Fill in the information next to the red arrow and select either **Call Me** or **Send Code** to receive a verification code.

### Verify your phone

Enter the verification code next to the red arrow and select **Verify Code**.

### Register an account

Select **Register an Account** at the top of the page.

### Open the registration form

On the Account Registration page, select **Next**.

### Accept the Terms and Conditions

Review the Terms and Conditions Agreement:

1. Add your title.
2. If you agree to the Terms and Conditions, scroll to the bottom of the agreement and check the box "By checking this box, I confirm that I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions."
3. Select **Next**.

### Select services

Complete the Service Selection page and select **Next**.

The **Submit** button only becomes clickable once every field marked with \* is completed. Check that every page is complete before submitting.

### Enter company details

Complete the Company Details page and select **Next**.

### Add contacts and submit

Complete the Contacts page and select **Submit**.
